FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly can you respond to an emergency rewind?

When a critical machine fails, we understand the cost of lost production and lost power generation. Our emergency lead times are measured in weeks, not months. Call us 24/7/365 and we can have coils and bars in production without delay.

Can you manufacture coils and bars from our existing drawings or samples?

Yes. We regularly manufacture to customer-supplied drawings and specifications. We can also reverse-engineer from sample coils and bars or from slot dimensions measured on site -- so even if OEM data is unavailable, we can help.

Can you improve on the original coil and bar specification?

Absolutely. Our complimentary redesign capability analyses your original coil and bar design and identifies opportunities to increase copper cross-section, improve thermal performance, and lower operating temperatures -- all of which extend the remaining service life of your asset.

How do your coils and bars help extend the life of my machine?

Our industry-leading partial discharge and tan delta levels mean lower insulation degradation over time. Combined with tight geometrical tolerances, premium materials, and comprehensive testing, our coils and bars are engineered to deliver decades of reliable, uninterrupted service.

What quality and compliance documentation do you provide?

We are ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certified, and manufacture to BS EN 50209:1999, ESI 44-5, and customer-specific standards. Every shipment includes full test reports and material traceability documentation for your records and regulatory compliance.

Need application-specific guidance?
